REVIEWS

The work you have done with the crew is amazing. Every AFA student and everyone involved in the making of this film has done a remarkable job. We will see what we can do with the film moving forward. It has been a year with AFA, and we will continue this journey. Moving ahead, we can focus on extending this or developing a full-length 90-minute film. People in the US have truly appreciated the film, and it is set to enter numerous award circuits. Xu Rui has done an exceptional job. The moment I read the 900-word script, I knew this would be something solid and meaningful.

A great big thank you to Shaker! It's amazing how everyday people are so influential in doing God’s work. This film beautifully translates the gift of imagination given to us by our Savior, showing the many ways lives can be touched for Jesus Christ. During our Bible studies, we often discuss life application, and this film is a perfect example—real people living real circumstances, especially difficult ones, as portrayed here. There are no fancy movie sets, no props, no special lighting, no stuntmen, and no special audio. The production cost was the raw emotions of the village people. Once again, thank you for allowing us to be the first to see this film and for taking the chance to share this masterpiece.

Thanks for a great evening at Holy Smoke tonight! Shaker, what a great film—both inspiring and thought-provoking. Thank you for sharing this with the group. I truly appreciate all of you and thank God for the opportunity to fellowship with you on Wednesdays!
